A leading construction company is seeking a Safety Coordinator to oversee site safety functions and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves training employees and mitigating risks to uphold safety standards. Position Description
Responsible for coordinating field safety activities. Works under the supervision of a safety manager responsible for leading the site safety function. Safety Coordinators work alongside the craft foremen to implement safety practices in the field. They work to ensure that Thompson’s safety programs and performance meet or exceed OSHA, State and Federal requirements. Additionally, this position plans, implements, and coordinates programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and financial losses, all while motivating and educating employees. This position is essential to Thompson’s goal of becoming a recognized leader in both safety and quality.
