Job summary

Peckham Industries Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee safety programs and policies across our operations.

The role emphasizes preventing injuries and maintaining compliance with regulations while advancing our zero-hocus safety culture. The position requires 3–5+ years in safety within construction/manufacturing, strong English communication, and the ability to train staff and conduct incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Degree in safety or related field required or preferred.
• 3–5+ years in safety, construction and/or manufacturing industries (OSHA, MSHA, IH or similar).
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to coach/train employees and investigate incidents quickly.
• OSHA/MSHA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, industry and regulatory policies.
• Lead safety assessments and identify hazards and solutions.
• Facilitate incident reporting and root-cause analysis.
• Develop safety training content and conduct trainings (new hires, task, refresher).
• Engage stakeholders to sustain the safety culture and programs.
• Lead involvement with safety associations and councils to learn best practices.
• Track and report insurance claims and accidents.
• Support Corporate Safety Strategic Plan initiatives.
