Qualifications

• Associate Degree (preferably) in a related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Strong training and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains thorough knowledge of S&S Activewear policies, SOPs and safety guidelines; communicates the safety culture.
• Implement, enforce, and oversee 6S in all areas of the warehouse.
• Drives safety initiatives and ensures adherence to safety plans and programs.
• Maintain all safety training and related documentation per standards.
• Develop and oversee facility safety audits and training needs.
• Provide new hire safety orientation and onboarding steps.
• Train employees on safety standards and oversee safe machinery operation.
• Conduct safety training for new and existing employees and refresh sessions.
• Lead hazard assessments and provide detailed improvement reports.
• Lead safety walks and coordinate with the safety committee.
• Ensure preoperational safety inspections are completed.
• Investigate accidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrections.
• Secure area and equipment after incidents; notify Ops and HR.
• Coordinate with management and external safety agencies for training.
• Organize Safety Committees and track open action items.
• Schedule safety audits, drills, inspections, and PPE checks.
• Maintain MSDS board and act as first aid liaison.
• Submit safety issue reports and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
