Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Safety Specialist to coordinate environmental, health and safety activities and ensure EPA/OSHA compliance across facilities. The role suits an organized individual with strong interpersonal skills and a track record in safe operations.

Qualificações

• Ability to read and interpret OSHA 1910 standards.
• Ability to relate to management as well as shop floor employees.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Regular and predictable attendance and adherence to safety policies.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor facility teams to implement health, safety, environmental, and loss prevention programs.
• Evaluate operations and equipment for compliance with safety policies and OSHA requirements; provide coaching and training.
• Conduct risk assessments and drive action plans to meet health and safety targets; support inspections and audits.
• Prepare and maintain reports including incident docs, regulatory submissions, audit findings, metrics and corrective actions.
• Investigate and coordinate follow-up on incidents and employee care related to safety.
• Provide guidance to facility leadership on safe operation and maintain required safety documents.
