Job summary

Core Scientific, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to provide administrative, compliance, and program support within the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team.

This office-based role coordinates training assignments, policy updates, and PPE vendor communications while ensuring documentation is current and accessible. You will work with the Safety Manager to keep the safety management system organized, accurate, and compliant, reporting to the Director, Safety.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); ability to analyze data and build basic reports and charts.
• Experience with document control or management system libraries (e.g., SharePoint) preferred.
• Experience with eLearning or learning management platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tracks regulatory and internal compliance by monitoring requirements, deadlines, permits, certifications, and recurring reporting obligations.
• Assigns safety training to employees, monitors completion, and follows up on overdue training.
• Manages the eLearning platform setup, course assignments, and reporting.
• Develops and updates training content, presentations, and job aids with safety SMEs.
• Schedules and facilitates safety meetings; tracks action items to completion.
• Maintains safety policies and the corporate safety management system documents.
