Job summary

Central Plg. & Elect. Supply seeks a dependable Safety Coordinator/Office Personnel to support OSHA compliance and daily office operations. You will help maintain safety programs and coordinate safety-related activities while handling general office tasks.

This role involves safety inspections, training coordination, documentation, and light administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Previous office, safety, or coordination experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations & workplace safety practices is a plus.
• Strong organizational & time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently with attention to detail & strong problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Safety coordination and assist in maintaining OSHA compliance with company safety policies.
• Conduct and document safety inspections, audits, and job-site observations.
• Coordinate employee safety training, orientations, and certification records.
• Maintain safety logs, reports, and documentation.
• Investigate and document workplace incidents, injuries, and near-misses.
• Assist management with implementing and improving workplace safety programs.
• Monitor and update required safety records and certifications.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Assist with data entry, recordkeeping and general office duties.
• Assist with invoice processing and related paperwork.
