The position operates on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and involves working on-site; travel for training may be required. Experience in manufacturing safety and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ health and safety experience in manufacturing.
• Associate degree or 2-year technical training with ≥1 year related experience; or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good understanding of OSHA standards.

Responsabilités

• Identify unsafe conditions and take action to eliminate risks.
• Monitor safety data such as inspections and injuries.
• Perform safety audits and inspections as directed.
• Assist investigations of unsafe acts and incidents.
• Coordinate safety committee and training sessions.
• Educate employees on safety via meetings and communications.
• Provide appropriate safety equipment and PPE to staff.
• Collaborate with supervisors on safety improvements.
