Role Description The Safety Assistant – 2nd Shift is a full-time, on-site role located in Norwalk, IA. This position supports the safety team by monitoring workplace conditions, assisting with incident reporting, and helping ensure compliance with company safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine safety inspections, maintaining safety records and documentation, and supporting training activities for team members on safe work practices. The Safety Assistant collaborates with supervisors and employees to identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety across the facility. This role may also assist with emergency response drills and follow-up on corrective actions from audits or inspections.
