Job summary

Rent the Runway is seeking a Safety Coordinator to champion RTR’s Safety Program at the assigned distribution center. You will conduct audits, lead investigations, and train staff to uphold safety standards in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Safety or related field and 1+ year in safety programs; bilingual Spanish is a plus. This is an entry-level hourly role with a strong emphasis on training and safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety/Environmental/Ergonomics or related field.
• 1+ year of safety/environmental program experience preferred.
• Experience with OSHA regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts due to incident-driven needs.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and data/incident logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inform management of safety issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through audits.
• Lead investigations of workplace incidents and fleet safety issues.
• Perform Job Hazard Analyses and assess new equipment risks and mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with RTR Safety Program and applicable laws.
• Maintain safety paperwork and incident logs; report metrics to onsite management.
• Train operations staff on RTR safety responsibilities and conduct monthly safety observations.
• Coordinate with security to ensure safety policies are followed.
