Job summary

PSC Group, a leading industrial services provider, seeks a Safety and Training Supervisor to lead site-level safety and training programs and serve as acting leader in the absence of the Operations Supervisor or Superintendent.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory, client, and company safety standards, developing site-specific safety procedures, conducting onboarding and safety meetings, and driving incident investigations and continuous improvement across field operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Leads site-level safety and training programs and serves as acting leader in the absence of the Operations Supervisor or Superintendent
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, client, and company safety standards through proactive oversight and documentation management
• Develops and maintains safety procedures, training materials, and site-specific compliance programs
• Conducts employee onboarding, safety meetings, and field-level coaching to reinforce safe work practices
• Provides regulatory interpretation and guidance to site and corporate leadership
• Investigates incidents, conducts audits, and drives continuous improvement initiatives
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job

Job Requirements

You must be able to:

• Speak, write, read fluent English. Hear and have good vision
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
• Work may involve protected and monitored exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, or other environmental conditions typical of an industrial facility
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
• Lift 60 pounds floor to waist
• Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally
• Carry 20 pounds while walking
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Stand 8-12 hours per day
• Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
