Job summary

LG Electronics, Inc. is hiring a Safety Leader to develop and maintain our safety policies and programs across manufacturing and office environments.

You will conduct risk assessments, enforce OSHA compliance, and coordinate emergency preparedness activities to safeguard employees and facilities. Responsibilities include leading investigations, training programs, and audits, while tracking metrics and driving continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management or related field.
• 2–3 years leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with OSHA compliance and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses throughout manufacturing and office areas.
• Monitor workplace conditions to identify opportunities for safety improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, federal, and local regulations.
• Coordinate fire drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency preparedness activities.
• Manage fire protection systems including alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and suppression equipment.
• Serve as the primary liaison with local fire departments and emergency agencies.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with fire safety requirements.
• Develop and administer safety and fire prevention training programs for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Ensure required safety certifications and training records are maintained.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance updates.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Lead investigations of accidents, injuries, near misses, and fire-related incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Track safety performance metrics and develop improvement plans.
• Present safety performance updates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Fire Protection, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with OSHA compliance, incident investigations, risk assessments, and emergency response programs.
