DRIVERGENT INC is seeking full-time School Bus Drivers to safely transport students in Lambertville, MI. Drivers must hold a CDL and endorsements, pass inspections, and maintain routes on time in various weather conditions.

The role offers competitive hourly pay, six-hour daily guarantee, PTO, health benefits, and a 401k with company-match. Candidates should be reliable, safety-first, and customer-oriented.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• RESA certification required or in process.
• CDL Class A or B license required; endorsements needed.
• Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements required.
• Michigan State Education Card required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely and reliably per district policies and laws.
• Maintain calm and safe student management on bus.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required.
• Be punctual and keep routes on time and safe.
• Assist passengers during evacuations if needed.
• Report problems to appropriate personnel and document incidents.
• Complete route change sheets, timecards, and vehicle repair requests.
• Keep bus interior clean and presentable at all times.
• Present a neat, professional appearance while on duty.
• Maintain a professional attitude with parents, students, staff and others.
• Operate equipment including wheelchair lifts, radios, and emergency devices safely.
