Job summary

S&P Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master in New York to guide Agile teams, foster Lean portfolio management, and accelerate technology delivery.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and cross-functional partners to drive value and align with the product roadmap. Responsibilities include facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, and delivering measurable improvements in delivery velocity and quality while leveraging AI-enabled practices to optimize team

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of industry experience, including 5–6 years as a Scrum Master across product teams.
• Experience working in SAFe, value streams, and Agile Release Trains.
• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Ability to understand domain-specific and technical discussions to facilitate Agile events, dependency conversations, risk reviews, and team decision-making in a meaningful way.
• Proven ability to improve Agile execution, delivery predictability, quality, and business value.
• Proven track record of enabling teams to deliver prioritized business value efficiently with a focus on accelerated delivery, enhanced quality, measurable outcomes, and maximum ROI.
• Expertise in Agile metrics, Kanban practices, lean portfolio management, and enterprise software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and built-in quality practices.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning.
• Remove impediments, manage risks and dependencies, and improve team flow using Agile metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement, self-organization, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Create a safe team environment for open input and collaboration while supporting effective decision-making.
• Represent the team in Scrum-of-Scrums, ART Syncs, and other cross-team forums to communicate dependencies and alignment.
• Partner with Product Managers/Owners and Tech Leads to maintain a healthy backlog aligned to goals and roadmap.
• Generate and maintain Agile dashboards and metrics supporting data-driven decisions and AI-enabled practices.
