Job summary

The Gibson County Special School District is seeking School Bus Drivers to safely transport students to and from school, sporting events and other activities within GCSSD, following all safety rules as directed by the Transportation Director. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a CDL endorsement is preferred (training available for qualified candidates).

Applicants must meet health and physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL Endorsement is preferred, but training will be provided if not possessed.
• Must meet health, mental and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, sporting events and special functions within GCSSD as directed by the Transportation Director.
• Follow safety rules and proper procedures for transportation responsibilities.
