Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Must possess current CDL and a Student Transportation Certification.
• Pass a regular physical, visual, and hearing examination.
• Must be alert, careful, and able to remain calm during emergencies.
• First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and extensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school and designated events.
• Operate bus and transportation vehicles safely.
• Supervise children during field trips.
• Load and unload passengers safely and ensure seating during motion.
• Maintain student discipline to minimize driver distractions.
• Prepare safety reports, mileage logs, and maintenance records as directed.
• Keep vehicle clean and in safe operating condition.
• Assist with custodial tasks to keep assigned areas clean and orderly.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
