Job summary

Leidos is seeking an ART Product Manager to join the Air Traffic Business Area, supporting the development of the L-CAP platform. You will own the Program Backlog, define and prioritize Features, and serve as the content authority for PI Planning - reporting to the Chief Product Manager.

This hybrid role is located in Gaithersburg, MD; Egg Harbor Township, NJ; or Eagan, MN with a 3 days onsite/2 days remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years related experience or 10+ years with a Master's degree.
• Product management experience in software-intensive organizations.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification or equivalent Agile product management credential.
• Experience owning a Program Backlog and serving as content authority for PI Planning in SAFe environments.
• Feature definition, prioritization, and decomposition for complex technical products at enterprise scale.
• Stakeholder management across executive, technical, and customer audiences with competing priorities.
• Experience translating strategic vision and roadmaps into executable feature delivery plans.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery mechanics including velocity, capacity planning, and dependency management.
• Data-driven decision-making using product metrics, analytics, and customer feedback loops.

Responsibilities

• Own the Program Backlog for the ART — define, prioritize, and sequence Features.
• Serve as content authority for PI Planning — decide which Features enter each Program Increment.
• Decompose Features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Translate program roadmap into ART-specific delivery plans with milestones.
• Define Feature acceptance criteria and validate fitness for purpose through demos.
• Manage ART-level stakeholders including customer reps, business leadership, and engineers.
• Coordinate cross-ART feature dependencies and sequencing with peers and Chief Product Manager.
• Drive feature prioritization using data-informed decision frameworks.
• Participate in Solution-level planning and coordinate ART contributions to program capabilities.
• Maintain ART-level product metrics like feature throughput and acceptance rates.
• Sequence modernization features within the ART to maximize mission value and manage risk.
• Manage dependencies between legacy decommissioning and modernization activations.
• Define modernization priorities across distributed sites and deployment constraints.
• Coordinate with systems engineering and deployment teams to align with activation schedules and readiness gates.
• Champion an AI-first culture by applying AI-assisted development and automation.
