Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF/IS programs in overseas locations, deployed on six-month rotations with training and end-of-rotation time off. The role requires living on a military base, strict adherence to military policies, and passing medical/security clearances.

• Experience with program management and reporting is preferred.
• Prior work with military or disaster-relief programs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency communication messages and related support for military members and families.
• Monitor service delivery outcomes and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with leadership to mentor mobile team members and support deployment onboarding.
• Manage volunteer engagement lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.
• Oversee travel coordination, logistics and reporting for mobile deployments.
• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
