BR Printers is seeking a dependable Saddle Stitch Operator for our Kentucky Airport facility. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring saddle stitching equipment to produce books, catalogs, and printed materials with strong quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to read job tickets and specifications. Overtime and a four-shift schedule are part of the operation, with a comprehensive benefits

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipment.
• Ability to read job tickets, work orders, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor saddle stitching equipment per job specs.
• Review tickets and specs before starting work.
• Perform machine changeovers for different sizes and specs.
• Load signatures, covers, and materials into stations.
• Adjust feeders, stitching heads, and trimmers to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished books for quality and correct page sequence.
