Job summary

Qualifications

• Planning degree to be completed by Summer 2027 in City and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Transportation Planning.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to pre-construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects in CA.
• Support project managers and collaborate across disciplines to realize client visions for the built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn's practices and standards.
• Evaluate development proposals for compliance with zoning regulations.
• Prepare planning and land use studies and analyses.
• Coordinate with municipal and state agencies to obtain necessary approvals.
