Kimley-Horn in South San Francisco, CA is seeking engineering graduates to join our Roadway team in 2027. This is not a remote position and you will work with a multidisciplinary group on deliverables for transportation projects.

You'll gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and other software while meeting ABET degree requirements. The role emphasizes problem solving, collaboration with project managers, and adherence to local regulations.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree by Summer 2027 in the listed majors.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil design, planning, permitting, and analysis.
• Solve problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Develop familiarity with regulations and company/client standards.
• Learn software programs specific to discipline: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS.
