Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Clinical Specialist Manager of Sacral Neuromodulation to lead clinical development and the regional field team. You’ll identify strategies to improve efficiency, coach clinical representatives, and manage administrative risks while reporting to the Director of Field Development.

The role emphasizes field-based leadership, collaboration with HR for hiring top candidates, and alignment with regional sales goals. 60% field time is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to manage conflict effectively and effect change.
• Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Energetic, organized, determined and goal-oriented.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Combined minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership/credibility within local team (preferred).
• Knowledge/experience in operating room (OR) (preferred).
• Previous people management experience is a plus.
• Proven track record as a Clinical Specialist, preferably in neuromodulation (preferred).
• Experience leading SNM or neuromodulation teams (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Carry out company policies with sincerity and integrity; ensure clinical team complies with policies and procedures.
• Manage and coach clinical representatives for regional alignment of goals and talent development.
• Support technical clinical excellence and therapy education.
• Oversee pipeline management and account decision making.
• Lead change in response to evolving customer base and service expectations.
• Recruit, hire and maintain a diverse bench of clinical candidates.
• Collaborate with field to support sales development in procedures and product knowledge.
• Attend trainings and participate in certifications.
• Set objectives for direct reports and manage performance evaluations.
• Align regional clinical goals with sales strategy and revenue growth.
• Communicate with executives and peers about clinical activities and market changes.
• Spend a minimum of 60% in the field conducting field rides with the clinical team.
