Job summary

Marysville Exempted Village School District is seeking a part-time School Age Child Care (SACC) Program Assistant to support daily operations under the SACC Director. The role focuses on supervising students, implementing activities, and maintaining records in a safe, inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to complete required trainings (CPR/First Aid), and a commitment to student well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18, if required by applicable childcare regulations or district policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience with school-aged children or childcare preferred.
• Ability to complete trainings including communicable-disease prevention, child-abuse reporting, first aid, CPR.
• Meet all state, district, and position-specific employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating age-appropriate activities.
• Actively supervise students during indoor/outdoor activities, transitions, meals, and field trips.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive environment and promote student belonging.
• Follow behavior-support strategies and district policies consistently and respectfully.
• Assist with attendance, records, and program documentation.
