Job summary

Marysville Exempted Village School District is seeking a School Age Child Care (SACC) Student Program Assistant to support the SACC Team Leader in Marysville, Ohio. This part-time role focuses on supervising and engaging school-age children in a safe, inclusive environment.

The position requires being enrolled in Marysville Schools, at least 14 years old, and willing to learn. You will assist with activities, prepare materials, help with snack time, sign-in/out, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Marysville Schools.
• Minimum age of 14 at the time of employment.
• Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with children and adults.
• Dependable, responsible, patient, and willing to learn.
• Ability to follow directions, maintain confidentiality, and seek assistance when needed.
• Ability to complete required training and comply with applicable student-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with age-appropriate recreational, educational, social, creative, and physical activities planned by the SACC Team Leader.
• Engage positively with students and help create a safe, inclusive, respectful program environment.
• Assist with active supervision of students during activities, transitions, indoor and outdoor play, snack periods, and other routines.
• Follow established SACC procedures for student supervision, attendance, transitions, behavior support, emergency response, and safety.
• Use positive guidance and report safety concerns to the Team Leader.
• Assist with preparing and organizing activity materials, games, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain clean, safe program spaces and assist with snack preparation and cleanup.
• Perform routine administrative tasks and attendance records under supervision.
• Communicate respectfully with students, families, staff, and SACC personnel.
• Protect confidentiality of student, family, staff, and program information.
• Complete required training and participate in orientation activities.
