Job summary

cyberThink is seeking a Commercial Attorney for a 6-month onsite contract in New York, NY. The role requires navigating a high volume of procurement contracts, including MSAs and SOWs for SaaS/IT, and coordinating with procurement, IT, security and privacy teams.

You will monitor evolving privacy and AI laws, assess vendor risks, and help standardize contract terms to support business objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate degree from a U.S. accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in NY.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with a law firm or in-house experience in internet, technology, or media procurement.
• Deep understanding of software licensing (SaaS) and cloud tech.
• Strong data privacy and AI regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements focused on MSAs and SOWs for SaaS/IT.
• Serve as liaison for NASB Procurement team and handle related contract matters.
• Collaborate with procurement, IT, security and privacy to assess vendor risks and ensure standard contract terms.
• Stay current on laws and trends in digital media and technology platforms.
• Provide proactive legal guidance and manage risks while supporting business goals.
