Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a SaaS Security Configuration Manager to lead a team of analysts and engineers focused on proactive security configuration practices across the SaaS ecosystem.

You will define strategic scope, drive remediation, and coordinate with risk, application owners, and security architecture in a highly regulated environment. The role requires leading monitoring capabilities, establishing scalable processes, and delivering measurable improvements in security posture and configuration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership or technical leadership in SaaS security, security configuration management, cloud security, security engineering, or security technology management.
• Proven success implementing or leading security configuration, SaaS security, cloud security posture, or comparable security engineering functions.
• Demonstrated understanding of security configuration risks with SaaS technologies including identity, authentication, authorization, privileged access, external collaboration, data exposure, APIs, and logging.
• Experience establishing or operating security monitoring across a broad portfolio of SaaS technologies.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Microsoft security certifications, AWS or Azure security certifications, or comparable credentials.

Responsibilities

• Translate SaaS security principles and configuration standards into actionable monitoring, engineering, and remediation activities for the team.
• Develop and maintain a risk-oriented SaaS security configuration strategy and roadmap.
• Define security configuration expectations for SaaS platforms across identity, access, data protection, API access, and logging.
• Own execution scope for monitoring and posture management, onboarding SaaS platforms into monitoring solutions.
• Establish processes for identifying weaknesses, drift, and deviations from expectations.
• Define and measure success criteria for SaaS configuration capabilities and security posture.
• Collaborate with owners and risk functions to prioritize remediation of SaaS configuration risks.
• Evaluate SaaS platforms based on risk, criticality, data sensitivity, and security capabilities.
• Foster collaboration with technology and business leaders to improve security expectations.
• Ensure security practices support regulatory and audit obligations.
