Job summary

Globaledit, based in New York City, is seeking a visionary Principal Engineer to lead architecture, performance, and the codebase for its Digital Asset Management Platform. You will own the technical roadmap, mentor a global engineering team, and bridge complex business requirements with scalable solutions.

This role emphasizes SaaS delivery, AWS-heavy infrastructure, React/TypeScript review, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

10+ years building production-grade SaaS platforms with multi-engineer ownership.
3+ years in Tech Lead or Principal Engineer roles guiding outcomes across teams.
Deep expertise in C# .NET, ASP.NET, and testing with XUnit.
4+ years hands-on AWS experience including API Gateway, EC2, Cognito, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, DynamoDB.
Strong React and TypeScript understanding for clean interfaces.
Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, performance, and codebase for the Digital Asset Management Platform.
Own the technical roadmap and mentor a global engineering team.
Drive long-term technical vision and high-quality software standards.
Identify bottlenecks, improve reliability, and optimize infrastructure.
