Job summary

Globaledit, a division of CoCreativ, is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead architecture, performance, and the codebase for our Digital Asset Management Platform in a hybrid New York-based setting. You will own the technical roadmap, mentor a global team, and bridge complex business requirements with scalable solutions.

You will drive SaaS excellence with 10+ years in building platforms, deep C# .NET expertise, and strong AWS and frontend capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building production-grade SaaS platforms.
• 3+ years as Tech Lead or Principal Engineer owning outcomes across multiple engineers.
• Expert-level proficiency in C# .NET, ASP.NET, and XUnit.
• 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience (API Gateway, EC2, Cognito, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, DynamoDB).
• Strong understanding of React and TypeScript patterns for clean interfaces.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive the long-term technical vision, architecture, and development roadmap for the DAM platform.
• Contribute directly to the codebase and develop high-impact features.
• Own system performance, reliability, and security, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing infrastructure.
• Mentor offshore engineers and foster a culture of high-quality code and efficient processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and executives to translate business needs into robust technical realities.
• Advocate best practices and modern DevOps methodologies across the engineering organization.
