Job summary

Emergent Staffing is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to own the Testimonials platform end-to-end, including architecture, code quality, infrastructure, and reliability.

You will lead day-to-day delivery, partner with Product on roadmap, and mentor engineers while driving secure development and scalable deployment practices across AWS and Kubernetes.

Ideal candidates will focus on SOC 2 readiness, platform growth, and AI-enabled development workflows in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience owning a production SaaS platform.
• Hands-on with Go, C#, Java; Kubernetes, REST APIs and AWS.
• Experience leading a small engineering team or workstream.

Responsibilities

• Own the Testimonials platform architecture, code quality, and production reliability.
• Lead day-to-day delivery of the product roadmap and partner with Product.
• Drive SOC 2 readiness, secure development, and change control practices.
• Implement platform growth, enterprise features, and AI-enabled workflows.
