Job summary

Brex is a leading intelligent finance platform delivering expense management and banking solutions. The Implementation Consultant I role on the Commercial team guides small to mid-sized customers through onboarding on Brex Empower, blending customer empathy with project management and technical guidance.

You’ll develop product knowledge, sharpen project management skills, and lay the foundation for a career in implementation consulting while working in a hybrid Salt Lake City environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within SaaS or consulting.
• Exposure to project coordination or structured implementation work.
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Comfort working across technical and non-technical workstreams with guidance.
• Organized and detail-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Collaborative mindset for cross-functional resolution of issues.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate customer meetings, manage agendas, capture notes, and track action items.
• Assist customers in understanding needs and configuring Brex to address them.
• Manage stakeholder communications and assist with timelines to keep implementations on track.
• Support spend migrations and user adoption during deployment.
• Introduce integration concepts and connect Brex with external systems; engage Technical Consultants for complex issues.
• Coordinate handoffs between teams and provide documentation for client continuity.
• Deliver change management templates and lead training sessions as needed.
• Contribute feedback on the client experience to support process improvements.
