Job summary

Accela is seeking a Manager, Engineering Development to lead one or more SaaS product teams built primarily on Java and .NET. You will oversee delivery across the full software development lifecycle, aligning engineering work with product priorities and business goals.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with Product Management, QA, and Cloud Operations, and drive continuous improvement in development practices and AI-enabled development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years leading a software development team in SaaS or cloud environments.
• Expertise in Java and/or .NET platforms and modern CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication, planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development teams through all phases of the SDLC.
• Coordinate requirements, timelines, and dependencies with Product Management in Jira.
• Drive capacity planning and resource alignment across development teams.
• Partner with QA, Cloud Operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.
• Contribute to roadmaps, milestones, and risk tracking.
• Champion AI-enabled development practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers.
