Job summary

Invoca is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Specialist to support day-to-day contracting operations. You will prepare, review, and process customer and vendor agreements, maintain the contract system, and help move deals through the pipeline efficiently.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Legal, this role offers exposure to SaaS and AI-related contracts, with opportunities to optimize templates, playbooks, and data privacy documentation. 1+ year in contracts or legal operations preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, sales operations, or a paralegal role at a SaaS or technology company.
• Familiarity with standard SaaS terms, such as subscriptions, order forms, and SLAs.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, e.g., Ironclad and e-signature platforms (DocuSign).
• Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of documents and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and generate standard contracts, NDAs, and amendments from approved templates.
• Review incoming contracts and redlines, flag non-standard terms or deviations for escalation.
• Route contracts through internal review workflows (Legal, Finance, Security, Deal Desk) and track status to keep deals on schedule.
• Manage contract execution via e-signature platforms and ensure fully executed agreements are filed properly.
• Maintain the contract repository with accurate metadata, including key dates, renewal terms, pricing, and obligations.
• Respond to internal requests for contract lookups, summaries, or status updates.
• Support basic data privacy and security documentation (DPAs, security questionnaires) under Legal guidance.
• Help maintain and update contract templates, clause libraries, and playbooks, including AI-specific terms.
• Identify process inefficiencies and support initiatives to improve contracting speed and accuracy.
• Assist with special projects such as audits, due diligence, or contract migrations.
