Job summary

Kong Inc., the AI Connectivity Company, seeks a Product Manager, Billing to own Konnect's commercial operating layer—entitlements, metering, checkout, invoicing, and provisioning. You’ll partner with Finance, Sales, and Engineering to translate pricing and billing concepts into scalable product features.

You will drive platform strategy, unify entitlements, and lead enterprise and marketplace billing across clouds while migrating toward a modern target stack.

Qualifications

• :6+ years in SaaS product management with 2+ years in billing/monetization.
• :
• Ability to co-design architecture with engineering and product partners.
• Experience taking pricing/packaging changes from proposal to production including financial modeling and migrations.
• Experience with consumption-based monetization and metering concepts.
• Proficient at pulling numbers with SQL/Snowflake/Hex and using data to drive priorities.
• Experience with Stripe or metered billing platforms (Metronome, Orb, OpenMeter).

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year platform vision for pricing, meters, entitlements, and invoicing.
• Build unified entitlements model defined in contracts, enforced in-product, and reflected in billing.
• Lead pricing and packaging delivery collaborating with Monetization.
• Oversee metering, usage visibility, and revenue accuracy.
• Own self-serve checkout and subscription lifecycle, including migrations and changes.
• Coordinate enterprise and marketplace billing across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Automate provisioning and fulfillment replacing manual processes.
• Define health metrics and use data to set priorities and measure outcomes.
