Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Software Development Manager to lead the S3 Buckets space within the S3 Index organization. You will guide architecture and delivery for data plane components, ensuring reliability and performance at massive scale.

You will mentor engineers, own the roadmap, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable storage services for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years in engineering teams working on large-scale systems.
• Experience designing or architecting multi-tier services for reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers delivering S3 Buckets Data Plane components.
• Own vision and roadmap for S3 Buckets Data Plane systems and interfaces.
• Mentor engineers and drive performance, reliability and scale.
• Collaborate with partner teams to build highly available distributed systems.
