Job summary

Biogen, Inc. seeks a Head of Source-to-Pay Technology to drive strategy, delivery, and lifecycle management for procurement platforms globally.

You will partner with Finance, GBS, and Legal to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions and guide investment decisions across the portfolio. You will lead a cross-functional team and oversee end-to-end delivery, from architecture through release, ensuring security, compliance, and operational readiness in a SOX-regulated life sciences

Qualifications

• IT leadership with enterprise app delivery and stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting Procurement, Source-to-Pay, or Procure-to-Pay functions.
• Hands-on leadership with S2P platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, or Oracle ERP.
• Experience managing large SI partners, MSPs, and vendors.
• 12+ years of progressive IT experience with enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Own technology strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Procurement and S2P platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate priorities into scalable tech solutions.
• Lead the S2P technology portfolio including sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and analytics.
• Drive investments, budgeting, value realization, and portfolio planning.
• Establish demand management, prioritization, and backlog across the landscape.
• Lead cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, engineers, and partners.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery, including architecture, integrations, data migration, and release management.
• Ensure security, compliance (SOX), reliability, and performance of platforms.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensuring accountability for delivery and SLAs.
