Job summary

GreenMark Equipment is a premier John Deere dealership serving Southwestern Michigan and Northern Indiana with multiple locations. This role focuses on processing all whole goods sales transactions, settlements, invoicing, and delivery receipts with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include verifying sale details, applying eligible discounts, recording finance notes, and supporting John Deere Financial settlements inquiries while maintaining GAAP compliance and strong communication with

Qualifications

• Proficient with accounting systems and GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comprehensive written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process all sales transactions (settlements, invoicing, delivery receipts) accurately and timely.
• Ensure dealership uses all programs/discounts and customers are properly invoiced.
• Load and verify notes, payoff information, and rental data in Deere systems.
• Record sales data and reconcile accounts in the dealer system and GL.
• Represent dealership as John Deere Financial contact for settlements inquiries.
• Support inventory audits and provide accurate documentation.

GreenMark Equipment is built on integrity, quality products, a highly trained team, and offering quality service at competitive prices.GreenMark offers the following benefits:Health insurance starts on your first day of employment401k with company matchPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffCompetitive wagesAdvancement opportunitiesEmployee discountsPurpose:Process all whole goods-related sales transactions (settlements, invoicing, delivery receipts, etc.) timely and accurately, assist in ensuring the dealership is utilizing all available programs/discounts, and ensure customers are properly invoiced.Responsibilities:Verifies the completeness and accuracy of sales information such as customer information, equipment quantity, amounts, and payoff information needed for settlementsProcesses delivery receipts and warranty registrationsLoads and/or verifies retail notes and payoff information on new and used equipment added on the settlementEnsures all eligible programs/discounts are applied to the saleLoads John Deere rentals (including rental returns) into Deere systemsEnsures all additional customer purchases are activated (i.e. PowerGard, JD Link, etc.)Records retail notes, bonuses, rentals and other purchase information into the dealer business systemInvoice equipment sales and rentals in the business system to customer accounts as neededReconciles applicable accounts in the general ledgerAssists with John Deere inventory auditsRepresents the dealership as the point of contact for John Deere Financial on settlements inquiries and requestsExperience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:Proficient with accounting systems and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with a focus on revenue recognitionKnowledge of agriculture equipment industry a plusAssociate’s degree with Accounting/Finance/Business discipline or equivalent experience requiredHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyComprehensive written communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsMicrosoft Office – Outlook, Excel, and WordFileBound knowledge a plus#GMR
