Job summary

IEHP is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Utilization Management (RxUM) to perform technical/clinical reviews of UM authorization requests with medication components. You will work under the Supervisor of RxUM to ensure accurate processing and quality compliance.

The role requires 1+ year experience as a pharmacy technician, active CA license, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. On-site IEHP benefits and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a pharmacy setting.
Active, unrestricted California Pharmacy Technician license required.
Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency may be required and assessed.

Responsibilities

Perform technical/clinical review of utilization management authorization requests with a medication component.
Collaborate with RxUM team to ensure accurate processing of UM requests.
Support quality and compliance initiatives within IEHP’s Pharmacy Utilization Management program.
