Job summary

University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) seeks a Registered Pharmacy Technician to support medication reconciliation in the Emergency Department. Under a Pharmacist's supervision, you will help obtain and document BPMH for older adults and assist with dispensing workflows to ensure patient safety.

The role requires a Texas-registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and IV certification within three months, with fast-paced, high-volume experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience is required.
• Sterile compounding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, document, and maintain BPMH for older adults in the ED.
• Assist Pharmacist with acquisition, preparation, checking and distribution of medications in the ED.
