Thrive Pet Healthcare ACCESS Los Angeles in Culver City is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician Trainer to mentor and educate technical staff. The Technician Trainer should have an RVT with 3+ years in a large hospital and prior teaching experience is preferred. We offer a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• RVT and 3+ years of technical experience in a large hospital setting.
• Proven experience in teaching or training within a veterinary setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, including clinical procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for education and mentorship.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports current training objectives and adds additional coursework as needed.
• Schedules and organizes all technical training meetings, classes, and practical coursework.
• Writes outlines, texts, handouts, tests, and exercises for training.
• Administers exams and reports updates on technical performance.
• Assists in interviews and skill assessments for new hires.
• Coordinates training across multiple forums to maximize exposure.
• Assists in staff reviews and onboarding into the home hospital.
• Upholds ACCESS spirit and handles tasks with attention to detail.
