Qualifications

• Must hold Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT).
• Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services, wellness plans, and pet health needs.
• Coordinate the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and productivity of the veterinary team.
• Provide professional, efficient service; educate clients about their pet's health; perform procedures as allowed by state law.
• Perform veterinary technician appointments under supervision of a veterinarian.
• Assist clients with documentation, pet histories, and scheduling; dispense medications per veterinary instructions.
• Manage finances with opening/closing procedures and accurate balances.
• Support veterinarian and team to maximize productivity and client care.
• Train and mentor new paraprofessional associates.
• Quality check medical records, medications, and hospital cleanliness.
