Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean windows, wheels, tires, awnings, compartments, and exterior surfaces.
  • Prepare RVs for customer showings, deliveries, appraisals, sales display, and service appointments.
  • Remove dirt, debris, bugs, stains, and buildup from RV exteriors.
  • Operate wash bay equipment, pressure washers, hoses, cleaning supplies, and related tools safely and properly.
  • Move RVs in and out of the wash bay or designated cleaning areas as needed and as authorized.
  • Inspect RVs before and after washing to identify visible damage, cleanliness concerns, or maintenance issues.
  • Report damage, safety concerns, missing parts, or unusual conditions to management promptly.

  • Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Forklift, tractor, or RV‑moving experience preferred but not required, unless required by location.
Experience

  • Experience working around large vehicles, trailers, or equipment is helpful.
  • RV experience is preferred but not required.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, pressure washers, hoses, ladders, and basic tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and company standards.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to identify and report visible damage, safety concerns, or issues with RV units.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Professional attitude and willingness to assist other departments as needed.
  • Ability to handle multiple units or tasks in a fast‑paced dealership environment.
Travel Requirements

Minimal travel required. Occasional travel between dealership locations or off‑site storage areas may be required based on business needs.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to safely climb ladders and work around tall vehicles and large RV units.
  • Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, humidity, and other weather conditions.
  • Ability to use hoses, brushes, cleaning equipment, and hand tools.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, dirt, dust, pollen, and outdoor elements.
