First US Bank is seeking a Title Clerk in the Indirect Lending Department located at 3976-A Government Blvd. Mobile, AL.

This role handles recreational vehicle title processing across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely completion of title-related tasks, while delivering prompt, courteous service. Responsibilities include processing titles, filing for duplicates, coordinating with dealerships to list the bank as lienholder, handling lien perfection, and managing UCC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year title clerk experience preferred.
• General knowledge and understanding of finance lending.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, when needed.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process titles for recreational vehicle purchases in multiple states, including paper titles, electronic titles, and lien statements.
• File for duplicate titles when needed and resolve title discrepancies.
• Work closely with dealerships to ensure titles are properly issued and received in a timely manner, with First US Bank listed as lienholder.
• Ensure all lien perfections are completed by the dealership and state within required timeframes, and proactively follow up on any missing or delayed filings.
• Handle UCC filings, including initial filings, continuations, and terminations.
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, dealerships, and state agencies regarding title status and requirements.
• Manage title processes in non-title holding states, where the title is issued directly to the customer and the lienholder receives a lien statement from the state.
• Handle incoming calls to assist dealers, vendors, and customers.
• Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, processes, and procedures.
• Participates in and completes all required compliance training, including BSA/AML, as well as other internal and external training programs.
• Participates in training new teammates as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
