Job summary

Camping World in Richmond, IN is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to diagnose, repair, and document customer needs. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance, track parts, and keep the supervisor updated on progress.

The role requires formal trade certification or equivalent experience; RVIA certification is helpful. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a shop environment; tools supplied by you.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year service technician experience or related fields.
• Certification from college or technical school in a trade is helpful.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.

Skills

1 year service technician experience

Tooling and maintenance knowledge

Valid driver's license (preferred)

Education

Trade school/college certification in a trade
