Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and coach bodies. The role emphasizes mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC maintenance with strong attention to detail.

This position offers on-the-job training and opportunities to obtain RVIA certification. Candidates should have trade schooling or related experience, and be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade is helpful but experience can count.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Potential exposure to heights and hazards with electrical and welding equipment.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor appraised of work progress.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
