Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators and coach bodies. Ideal candidates will have advanced diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and general maintenance.

Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. The role involves hands-on repair, parts tracking, safety, and upholding quality standards in a busy shop environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
