Job summary

Pete's RV Center in Schererville, IN is seeking service technician apprentices to join our growing team. This role tests equipment and appliances on RV units before customer pickup, with on-the-job training to develop mechanical, diagnostic and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of performing duties including bending, squatting, lifting 25 pounds regularly.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency navigating tablet-based technology.
• Strong organizational skills with accurate record-keeping.
• Desire to work in a performance-based environment; CSI is emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, painting, HVAC.
• Prioritizes work orders, handles urgent requests and completes preventative maintenance.
• Ensures all shop policies, SOPs, codes and safety standards are followed.
