Job summary

Pete's RV Center in Millis, MA is seeking service technician apprentices to join our growing team. You will test all equipment and appliances on RV units prior to customer pickup, with on-the-job training.

This full‑time role offers a structured training program, relocation possibilities, and a starting salary of $42,000–$52,000 per year, plus a monthly bonus program and benefits. You will develop mechanical, diagnostic, and hands-on skills in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50–100 pounds on occasion.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with tablet-based technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs in carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, finish work, painting, HVAC.
• Prioritizes work orders, handles urgent requests and completes preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ensures shop policies, procedures, SOPs, codes and safety standards are followed.

Job description

Pete's RV is looking for service technician apprentices to join our growing team! This position is responsible for testing all equipment and appliances on the RV unit prior to customer pick-up.

Responsibilities:

• Performs minor repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including; carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, painting, HVAC, etc.
• Prioritizes work orders, handle urgent requests and complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance work and procedures
• Ensures all shop repair and maintenance policies, procedures, SOP’s, codes, regulations, etc. are followed and enforced including safety systems and standards

• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching and lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. On occasion, may be required to lift items weighing 50 to 100 pounds
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
• Strong organizational skills; must maintain accurate, complete records of work done, work requested, and work in progress
• A desire to work in a performance based environment.
