Job summary

Pete's RV Center is seeking service technician apprentices to join our growing team. This role focuses on testing all equipment and appliances on RV units before customer pickup, with on-the-job training provided.

The position offers hands-on learning across maintenance disciplines and an opportunity to advance while earning $42,000 yearly to start and participating in a monthly bonus program.

Qualifications

• Physically able to perform duties including bending, squatting, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient with navigating tablet-based technology.
• Strong organizational skills with accurate record-keeping.
• Desire to work in a performance-based environment.
• Excellent CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) required.

• Prioritizes work orders, handles urgent requests and completes preventative maintenance work and procedures.
• Ensures all shop repair and maintenance policies, procedures, SOPs, codes, regulations, etc. are followed including safety systems and standards.

Job description

Pete's RV is looking for service technician apprentices to join our growing team! This position is responsible for testing all equipment and appliances on the RV unit prior to customer pick-up.

Responsibilities:

• Performs minor repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including; carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, painting, HVAC, etc.
• Prioritizes work orders, handle urgent requests and complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance work and procedures
• Ensures all shop repair and maintenance policies, procedures, SOP’s, codes, regulations, etc. are followed and enforced including safety systems and standards

• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching and lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. On occasion, may be required to lift items weighing 50 to 100 pounds
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
• Strong organizational skills; must maintain accurate, complete records of work done, work requested, and work in progress
• A desire to work in a performance based environment.
