Job summary

Pete's RV Center in Massachusetts is seeking service technician apprentices to join our growing team. This role tests all equipment and appliances on RV units prior to customer pickup and provides hands-on training.

Responsibilities include minor repairs across carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, finish work and painting; you will prioritize work orders, follow safety standards, and keep accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic maintenance across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work orders.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Job description

Pete's RV is looking for service technician apprentices to join our growing team! This position is responsible for testing all equipment and appliances on the RV unit prior to customer pick-up.

Responsibilities:

• Performs minor repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including; carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, painting, HVAC, etc.
• Prioritizes work orders, handle urgent requests and complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance work and procedures
• Ensures all shop repair and maintenance policies, procedures, SOP’s, codes, regulations, etc. are followed and enforced including safety systems and standards

• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position including bending, squatting, stretching and lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. On occasion, may be required to lift items weighing 50 to 100 pounds
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
• Strong organizational skills; must maintain accurate, complete records of work done, work requested, and work in progress
• A desire to work in a performance based environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000-$52,000 / yearly to start
