Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) to diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators and coach body components. The ideal candidate will have advanced diagnostic and repair skills, and a passion for fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems.

The role requires a trade certification or related experience; RVIA certification is helpful but not required. You must furnish your own hand tools and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but experience is considered.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
