Job summary

Jayco is seeking a Design Engineer to design RV products in a timely manner, ensuring marketability, manufacturability and Jayco quality standards.

You will develop floor plans, evaluate new products, document designs and communicate design changes internally and externally.

A BS in Engineering with 1–3 years RV experience or 5–8 years in engineering roles is preferred; proficiency with Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks/Catia) is required. This is a full-time on-site Indiana position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology.
• RV or related engineering/design experience preferred (1–3 or 5–8 years).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design RV products and floor plans meeting engineering parameters and Jayco standards.
• Participate in projects on new products, features and change requests.
• Document designs to support manufacturing and administration.
• Communicate new designs and changes across internal and external teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in cost, quality and manufacturability.
